Seeking Regulatory Specialist candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as USACE.  This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) (Regulatory Specialist) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Department of Defense (DoD - USACE) | U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, Omaha District (USACE NWO) Area of Responsibility (AOR) Generally Located In CONUS - Ten (10) States: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming and across the Mid West Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Regulatory Specialist | Environmental Management [USACE020025]

Ensure project compliance with environmental regulations; prepare documentation; liaise with regulatory agencies.  The Regulatory Specialist is responsible for assuring regulatory compliance is achieved for all environmental-related activities in the task order.  The project Regulatory Specialist must have professional knowledge of , a thorough understanding of, and applied practical experience of environmental regulations with respect to Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA),  the Hazardous Materials Conservation Act, the Superfund Amendments & Reauthorization Act (SARA), the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, etc., and implementing federal, state, and local regulations and their application to the projects.

Desired Qualifications For Regulatory Specialist | Environmental Management [USACE020025] (USACE020025) Candidates:

Strong understanding of environmental regulations; experience in regulatory compliance.  The Regulatory Specialist shall have a college degree in environmental, physical or natural sciences or in engineering, shall have professional registration in their respective field of expertise (e.g., Professional Engineer license, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Registered Environmental Manager (REM), or equivalent), have a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience, and have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the accumulation, manifesting, and shipment of wastes.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

Skills Required: Regulatory knowledge, documentation skills, communication with regulatory agencies. | Professional Licensure: None; certifications in regulatory compliance (e.g., RCRA, CERCLA) are beneficial.

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

Permits/Licenses:  Team ProSidian shall obtain permits and licenses necessary to conduct the work required by this contract, including, but not limited to, environmental permits, building permits, discharge permits, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or state licenses for radiation activities, and Department of Transportation (DOT) permits for transport of Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) and Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) on public highways. Team ProSidian shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, including Technical Bulletin TB 700-2, “Department Of Defense Ammunition And Explosives Hazard Classification Procedures,” when transporting MEC.  Rights of entry on and off Government property may be required.
