Job Description
Saint Luke’s is seeking a Full-TimeRehab Tech(Day Shift) at Saint Luke's East Hospital (100 NE Saint Lukes Blvd., Lees Summit, MO)
Position Details:
- Shift Day Hours: Mon-Fri (8am-4:30pm)
- Clean installation and maintenance of mobility equipment
- Assists therapists with patients' mobility (help with "chair follow" when walking a patient, line management, and be the second set of hands)
- Supports Rehab Department
Experience:
- Direct Patient Care experience (preferred)
- Great opportunity for Occupational Therapist (OT) & Physical Therapist (PT) students and interested in programs

Assists in preparing patients for treatment under the supervision of Physical and Occupational Therapists or Assistants, Speech Pathologists and Audiologists, and other clinic staff. Performs routine tasks and assists therapists during patient treatment activities as directed.
Participates in lifting, transferring and ambulation of patients and/or equipment
Participates in ADLs specifically dressing and grooming as assigned by clinical staff
Assists with supervised feeding programs
Uses professional judgement to always ensure safety to self, patients, and others
Transport patients to and from the Rehab Department
Environmental cleaning
Taking inventory, ordering and stocking supplies
Issues DME under the direction of the therapist
Performs set up and cleanup of treatment area including appropriate equipment and supplies
May be involved in mentoring, training of new technician staff members.
Performs all other duties as requested by the manager.
May be involved with clerical and computer skills
Performs patient blood pressure readings during treatment under the guidance of clinical staff.
