Manage the daily operations of rehabilitative services.
- Develop specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
- Assess quality of patient care and coordinate services with patients and healthcare providers.
- Manage staff relations and oversee scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
- Oversee departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relation.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Audiologist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners.
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
- Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific
experience required. - 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
- Acute Care Rehab experience REQUIRED
- Leadership experience preferred
- PT, OT, or SLP background
