May supervise staff employees, student workers, programs or processes.
EEO/AA Description: Provides educational experiences to the campus community in the areas of relationship and sexual violence prevention. Coordinates and supervises the CORE Peer Educator program including student recruitment, support, and development. Leads campus-wide awareness campaigns pertaining to relationship and sexual violence. Job Responsibilities: 1.Design, implement, and evaluate programs and initiatives focused on preventing relationship and sexual violence. 2.Develop and distribute educational materials on relationship and sexual violence prevention to students, faculty, and staff. 3.Conduct regular educational sessions for the UH community on topics such as consent, healthy relationships, bystander intervention, and trauma-informed care. 4.Coordinate and supervise the peer education program and support student leaders in delivering prevention education. 5.Plan and execute campus-wide awareness campaigns and events to promote understanding and prevention of relationship and sexual violence. 6.Collaborate with student organizations, academic departments, and other campus entities to integrate prevention education into campus life. 7.Assist with budget planning and management. QualificationsEducation: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Experience: No experience required.
