Top Skills Required:

• Aviation experience preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree in aviation maintenance, engineering technology or reliability required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the job's essential functions.
• 3 years experience as a Reliability Engineer or related experience.

Position Purpose:

Under minimal supervision, contributes to the planning, coordination, performance of design, analysis, and engineering data supporting the development and evolution of Reliability products and services.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

• Contribute to downloading, reviewing, and maintaining Reliability Databases, including preparation of reliability reports and presentations to internal and external customers. .
• Calculate aircraft reliability performance metrics such as, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time Between Unscheduled Removals (MTBUR) from reliability databases in support of internal and external customers.
• Contribute to Identifying and reporting reliability issues utilizing FRACAS data for the aircraft fleets.
• Contribute to the assessment of new and proposed modification to existing component design which includes review of Reliability Prediction Reports, Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) Reports, and Reliability Performance Guarantees.
• Determine and develop own approach to solutions within schedule and cost objectives. .
• Acts as liaison with representatives outside of the assigned group/area to support internal and external customer requests.
• Actively seek improvements in daily processes.
• Maintains a current knowledge of developments in the field of specialty and/or other related aircraft fields in order to recommend innovations to improve quality and effectiveness of company product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
