Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring that flight hardware leads to the successful completion of missions while meeting or exceeding design requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure that the design process & design criteria/requirements are being followed for NG Space Systems design.Ensure design criteria, requirements, and verification approaches for heritage and new programsLead improvements to component and Spacecraft design for reliability growthReview proposed changes to hardware to ensure compliance with reliability requirementsDevelop/use specialized analysis tools for reliability engineering processesBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline8+ years of professional experience in an engineering roleExperience with failure modes and effects analysisExperience with reliability prediction, de-rating analysis,worst-case analysispart-stress analysis andreliability analysis/budgeting and planningPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Master's degree in an engineering disciplineExperience with aircraft, launch vehicles, spacecraft, or other aerospace systemsExperience with system design, analysis, testing, and fabrication for use in high-performance or safety critical applicationsScripting and data analysis experience using Visual Basic, Matlab, Python and ExcelWindchill Risk and Reliability Software, SAPHIRE, CAFTA, Reliasoft#NOVASPACESalary Range: $133,000.00 - $199,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
