Business Analyst Openings-please note some travel, up to 25% may be requred. locations would be Denver, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Candidates local to Denver are preferred. 6-12 month contract to hire (no sponsorship). W2 only
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of Business Analyst or Product Owner experience at the enterprise level
- Will be working on a team to help lead products from Inception to Delivery
- NOT a Project Manager, she needs someone to do the work not to handle the scheduling, budgeting, etc...This is a hands on role
- This person will be responsible for interviews, facilitating conversations between teams and must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- These are NEW roles on the team as they look to put together a better Product Development roadmap
- 6 to 12 month contract to hire
- Healthcare experience preferred
- 100% remote, Lena is in AZ and folks on MST would be preferred.
- NOT looking for junior people, need folks that are experienced and can work independently
- Will be working with HR, Finance, Operations and IT teams
- Loosely agile environment
- Ability to build persona's or journey mapping. If they have not done this before, red flag
- 25% travel (potentially to Denver, Ohio and Pennsylvania)
- Comfortable presenting to Senior Level people, again communication skills and positive attitude/people skills are key
- Tools: Nero, Aha, Jira and/or Viso. Excel also a plus
- "Culture and Respect" are huge
- Interview process will likely be a one and done Panel Interview (she has two managers starting next week and two the following week
Responsibilities:
- Elicit articulated and unarticulated business requirements through in-person or virtual interactions
- Challenge and influence business partners on requirements in order to support and align to enterprise-wide objectives
- Document requirement descriptions, acceptance criteria, and functional design requirements, as well as any associated data definitions/use cases that align to data governance and data lineage standards through well-written uses cases
- Analyze business technology and process solutions to determine solutions' priority, measurable business value, global impact, and ROI benefit
- Analyze and document the anticipated impact solutions will have on other stakeholders, processes, and related systems functionality
- Collaborate with solution delivery team to prioritize requirements in upcoming releases as well as the full requirements backlog
- Proactively communicate potential cross-functional dependencies and risks, and provide propose mitigation plans or interim workaround solutions
- Ensure solution delivery team efforts align to broader/cross-functional priorities
- Provide guidance, support and constructive feedback to solution delivery team
- Manage quality assurance team efforts during testing activities
- Perform detailed Business Analyst approval and testing
- Identify and resolve conflicts and negotiate changes in priorities, design, and/or scope
- Facilitate business demonstrations and discovery workshops
- Support technology and process change management efforts including communications, planning, impact analysis, training etc.
- Successfully engage in multiple, simultaneous initiatives, and report progress toward delivery goals including the estimated time needed to deliver artifacts
