Remote Clinical Services RepresentativeCompensation

• The pay for this position is $17.50 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Remote Clinical Services Representative Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 7:00 am – 8:00 pm. Training hours are from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Remote Clinical Services Representative Responsibilities

• Takes in-bound calls from providers, pharmacies, members, etc providing professional and courteous phone assistance to all callers through the criteria based prior authorization process
• Maintains complete, timely and accurate documentation of reviews
• Transfers all clinical questions, escalations and judgement calls to the pharmacist team.
• Assist with other duties as needed to include but not limited to: outbound calls, reviewing and processing Prior Auth’s received via fax and ePA, monitoring and responding to inquiries via department mailboxes and other duties as assigned by the leadership team.

Remote Clinical Services Representative Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• 0-3 years in a customer service or call center environment managing 75 calls/day
• Must have effective and empathetic communication style in managing inbound calls and communications with clients and team members
• Computer experience is required with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Remote Clinical Services Representative Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business, Accounting or equivalent work experience preferred
• Experience in a health care setting or insurance industry
