Corporate Controller - Remote within US - SaaS

Our team is working with a fast-growing, Private Equity-backed SaaS company to hire a Corporate Controller to lead the financial operations. The Corporate Controller will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting and financial reporting functions, 606 reporting, & strong cash flow management skills. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in SaaS financials, as well as experience working in a Private Equity-backed environment.
 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance to internal stakeholders and external partners (including Private Equity investors).

• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures that support operational efficiency and ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure that deadlines are met and that all transactions are properly recorded.

• Oversee cash management functions, including working capital optimization and short-term liquidity forecasting.

• Ensure that accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury functions are well managed and aligned with the company's cash flow needs.

• Manage annual audit processes, liaising with external auditors and coordinating the preparation of audit schedules.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all financial reporting to Private Equity investors

• Work closely with the CFO to track and report on the progress of key financial milestones, including EBITDA growth, cost control initiatives, and cash flow improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• CPA is REQUIRED!

• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including at least 3 years in a Corporate Controller role, preferably with a Private Equity-backed or high-growth SaaS company.

• Experience working with Private Equity investors, including managing investor reporting and building relationships.

• Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP system).

• Knowledge of tax compliance and regulatory requirements in SaaS or technology-driven businesses is a plus.
