Remote Estimator - PEMB & Steel Building - Gpac

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) and steel building structures. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project drawings, and coordinating with project teams to ensure efficient and successful bidding and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for PEMB and steel building construction projects.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate material, labor, and equipment cost estimates.
• Collaborate with the project team to review scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, material costs, and construction methods for PEMB and metal building structures.
• Develop and submit bid proposals, ensuring they are competitive and align with client requirements.
• Work with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and materials information.
• Review contracts and scope of work for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide post-bid support, including responding to client inquiries, revising estimates, and clarifying proposal details.
• Maintain accurate records of bids, proposals, and estimates for future reference.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience estimating PEMB and steel building structures.
• Strong understanding of construction costs, methods, and materials for metal buildings.
• Proficiency in MBS sofwatre is required
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of current industry pricing, codes, and standards for PEMB and metal structures.
