Remote Exp. F/T Medical Reimbursement Coordinator Needed
A very bust and fast-growing Healthcare Organization is currently looking to hire a direct hire, full-time, remote experienced Medical Reimbursement Coordinator. A Certified Public Accountant is preferred, but not required. The ideal candiate is someone who is highly-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, has exceptional time-management skills, and has the ability to multi-task.
Third-Party Payer reimbursement and a broad comprehension of coding and documentation requirements are required. This a direct-hire, full-time position working Monday-Friday (45+ hours per week) with occational weekends as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Maximizing medical reimbursements.
- Accounts receivable valuation.
- Government cost reporting.
- Developing budgets and reporting analysis for areas of responsibility,
- Ensuring financial statements are accurately prepared according to GAAP.
- Participation in external audits, and regulatory applications.
Job Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience w/public accounting audits or 7 years of private accounting.
- Finance & operations analysis in a healthcare setting.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field is required.
- MBA/MHA and or a CPA is preferred.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of third-party payer reimbursement and a broad comprehension of coding and documentation requirements.
- Must demonstrate excellent skills in analyzing data and financial reports, planning deeper analyses, and communicating results to other leaders.
- Must demonstrate strong analytical and accounting skills, and interpret data and analyses prepared by others.
- Must be highly motivated, productive, results-oriented w/communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently, lead others, and be led in various circumstances.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent time management skills.
- Must have proficient intermediate technical skills and the ability to utilize various accounting software programs to prepare and present documentation.
