We are currently seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Foreclosure Attorney to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing legal matters related to foreclosure and default. This position requires a deep understanding of the legal industry, specifically in foreclosure and default, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal counsel on foreclosure matters, including default, loss mitigation, bankruptcy, and real estate owned.
- Review and analyze pre and post-judgment title issues to ensure clear title.
- Negotiate loss mitigation solutions with opposing counsel.
- Draft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, discovery, etc. in furtherance of foreclosure processes.
- Attend hearings, mediations, and conduct trials.
- Communicate with clients, internal staff, and others to ensure cases are handled appropriately.
- Meet deadlines and perform meticulous analysis on various legal documents.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and outstanding business judgment with an innovative approach to legal issues in support of strategic business initiatives and objectives.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and laws to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school required.
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state and in good standing.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in foreclosure and default.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a remote environment effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.
- Experience with case management systems is a plus.
