Maximus is currently seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. The Recruiter will facilitate full-cycle recruitment, including networking, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiations, and onboarding. Additionally, the Recruiter will build and maintain candidate pipelines to meet current and future hiring needs. This role requires the ability to thrive successfully in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
This is a fully remote, limited-service opportunity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Scope open positions and determine what a successful candidate will look like for their team. - Proactive in identifying candidates utilizing multiple strategies (online databases, social media, Boolean search, complex internet search, etc.). - Continously grow a pipeline of qualified candidates. - Network to develop and maintain strong working relationships with community organizations and team members to maintain a successful partnership. - Engage in the full lifecycle of recruiting, ensuring both the candidate and hiring team . - Utilize social media to attract candidates for consideration. - Complete daily and weekly reports.
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting for regular and temporary full-time positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to create accurate requisitions.
- Conduct candidate interviews, screenings, and evaluations, referring qualified applicants to hiring managers.
- Provide employment recommendations based on comprehensive candidate assessments, ensuring competitive and equitable compensation.
- Coordinate and participate in the final candidate selection process.
- Manage or coordinate onboarding processes.
- Adhere to Maximus's Ethics, Legal, and Human Resources policies throughout the recruiting process.
- Maintain the internal applicant tracking system, ensuring compliance with OFCCP guidelines and accurate reporting.
- Advise on staffing needs and projections, recommending actions to fill positions.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with management to define successful candidate profiles.
- Proactively identify candidates using various strategies, including online databases, social media, and Boolean searches.
- Build and maintain a long-term pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Share exceptional candidates with team members and stay in touch for future opportunities.
- Network to develop strong relationships with community organizations and team members.
- Engage in the full recruiting lifecycle, ensuring satisfaction for both candidates and hiring teams.
- Utilize social media to attract passive candidates.
- Complete daily and weekly reports.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience. -Must have general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. - Strong ability to communicate on complex or sensitive issues or drafts such responses for supervisor or manager.
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience required
- Experience with high-volume recruitment required
- Knowledge of basic recruiting practices and processes required
- Proficiency using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) required, with Avature ATS preferred
- Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., YCBM, Calendly, Scheduler Assistant) preferred
- Government contracting industry recruitment experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
