REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
7-11 years of project management scheduling experience
Experience with the SDLC and STLC
Experience in the healthcare industry
Experience with CMMI standards and processes
PMP certification
Understanding of SharePoint applications, Webex, Skype, etc.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio, with a working knowledge of the rest of the Microsoft Office suite of applications
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Project
Knowledge of Microsoft Project Earned Value (EV) Metrics
Domain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or healthcare verticals
General understanding of role-relevant issues and trends
Strong understanding of project management skills and ability to create and manage project plans
Ability to meet and enforce deadlines, to conduct research into technology issues and products, and to take initiative in the development and completion of projects

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:
The role of the Project Scheduler, Senior is to plan, coordinate, and schedule project activities to ensure alignment with project and client requirements. This role leads and assists the creation and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules and facilitates project planning and earned value analysis activities to ensure that a cohesive plan is established that lends itself to the identification of deviations from planned and forecasted performance as well as the implementation of effective corrective actions. This role is a member of the Program/Project Management team and reports directly to Program Delivery Leadership.
supports a high-volume healthcare data system that is accessed through multiple web portals. This high-volume system operates out of multiple data centers and must reliably be available to its clients 7x24x365.
Oversees the project scheduling process and project schedulers across multiple projects
Develops detailed, effort based, resource-loaded schedules that include project phasing, project milestones, and critical relationships among program tasks as required to plan, coordinate, and visualize all significant program activities
Works closely with Program and Project Management leadership to ensure alignment with key project and client objectives and requirements
Maintains and oversees multiple project plans throughout the entirety of the project life cycle
Ensures that all project schedules are closely tracked, monitored, and coordinated to align to key project deliverables and milestones
Provides proactive assessment of project schedule risks for effective mitigation, escalates risks and issues to he appropriate leadership, and provides mitigation plan and strategy
Ensures that proper time is provided for key deliverables and milestones within project schedules, provides recommendations to improve as needed
Ensures that schedules are developed in a structured manner that aligns to project and client goals and objectives
