Remote Program Coordinator Job Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and follow regulations in processing faxes
- Gather relevant information from insurance carriers and patients
- Confirm eligibility and benefits
- Organize medical files and referrals
- Enter data into an information and authorization system
- Oversee pre-certification of procedures for insurance company approval
- Communicate with healthcare facilities, patients, and insurance providers
- Excellent attendance (especially during training
- Daily goals are being met
- Daily production trackers must be completed and emailed to designated person at the end of your shif
- Multi-tasking with multiple monitors and application
- Utilize work guides and or resources
- 97% Quality (Audits)
- 98% Production
- 0-5% Error Rate
Remote Program Coordinator Requirements
- Microsoft Office proficiency (MS word, MS teams, MS excel)
- 2 years of medical experience in authorizations or claims processing practices in managed care setting.
- Knowledge of customer service, medical terminology, and operation of office equipment.
Remote Program Coordinator Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Bilingual in Spanish
