Retail Planning Business Analyst needs 2+ years' work experience in retail planning, buying or merchandising
Retail Planning Business Analyst requires:
• Bachelor's degree in retail, business, finance, marketing or related fields
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills - able to extract conclusions from available data
• Self-starter
• Able to use sound critical thinking to provide innovative solutions
• Strong time management & organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Microsoft Office Experience (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Knowledge of Retail Math and Planning, Buying and Merchandising principles
Retail Planning Business Analyst duties:
• Collaborate across all functions including Operations, Visual Merchandising, Marketing and Communications to execute a comprehensive product and inventory strategy
• Provide weekly replenishment unit recap to the Distribution Center
• Manage Drop Tracking, Ontime Arrival to Store
• Communicate sales, inventory, and service level results weekly to Manager/Director
• Reduce excess inventory through ownership of MS recalculations and weekly/monthly inventory reviews
• Maximize store in-stock service level to maximize sales & meet consumer's needs
