Senior Tax Associate - Remote within US - CPA Firm

Our team is working with a premier CPA firm that is based in San Francisco to hire a Senior Tax Associate to their growing team. This position will provide room for advancement and growth while being flexible (100% Remote). We have placed two tax professionals with this firm that are doing exceptionally well.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax documents

• Conduct research on new or complex tax issues, and prepare corresponding memorandums to support conclusions

• Communicate with client personnel regarding deadlines, status of engagement completion and requests for information needed to complete engagements

• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of tax experience; two years preferred in public accounting

• Prior experience in HNW, trust, non-profit, partnerships and s-corporations is highly preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related; a current CPA license is preferred but not required

• Master’s Degree in Taxation a BIG PLUS
