Title: Sr Software/Cloud Automation Engineer
Location: Remote - EST Hours
Duration: 12-18 month project
Compensation: 65 - 70 HR W2
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Skillset / Experience: Python & PowerShell, CICD pipelines, AWS/Azure, Terraform + Ansible
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Develop and implement solutions involving both application and infrastructure resources including management, deployment, and monitoring of those resources where applicable.
- Automation Tools: Develop, utilize and integrate various automation tools and frameworks to streamline cloud operations.
- Scripting and Coding: Write and maintain scripts and code for automating cloud tasks using languages such as Python, Node.js, or PowerShell.
- Cloud Services: Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to deploy and manage cloud resources.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Implement automated solutions for proactive issue detection and resolution.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security, to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automated processes, configurations, and procedures.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that all automated solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.

Who You Are
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud computing, software development, and automation.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS and Azure)
- IaC: Terraform/Ansible
- CI/CD: Jenkins/Github-actions/gitlab-ci
- Scripting languages (Python, Node.js, PowerShell)
- Low code, no code: lambda functions, azure function/logic apps
- Integration/API (Graph API / REST API)
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and practices.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen, Green Card holders are not allowed due to US Government contractual requirements
