REMOTE TRANSPORTATION SALES MANAGER

We are seeking a Sales Manager who is willing to get out from behind the desk and actively engage in business development. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and meet targets
- Identify potential customers and proactively seek out new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
- Conduct sales presentations and negotiate contracts to close deals
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and client satisfaction
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform market research to identify industry trends and competitor insights
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products, services, and competitive advantages
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate leads
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Stay updated on industry regulations and changes to ensure compliance
Skills:
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in using TMI software and sales tools
- 5 years of direct related sales experience
- 10 years of experience in the transportation industry
- Knowledge of LTL, FTL, Reefer and domestic shipping modes
- Excellent Communication and negotiation skills
