Remote Workday System and Security Administrator at Talascend

• Troubleshooting involves managing more than 150 integrations with various internal systems, which means there’s a significant likelihood that one of them may experience issues. As a result, the team will be focused on identifying and resolving integration problems.
• Maintaining system documentation and creating system diagrams for over 65 systems, including Workday.
• Workday Security Management - Design, configure, and maintain Workday security roles and permissions to ensure proper access controls and compliance with company policies.
• System Administration - Manage and maintain Workday system configurations, updates, and integrations to ensure smooth system functionality.
• Backup Administrator for UKG Pro - Act as the backup administrator for the UKG Pro system, primarily used for payroll, providing support when needed to maintain operational continuity.
• Okta Integration & SSO - Assist in coordinating SSO connections between Workday, UKG Pro, and other third-party vendors using Okta or other identity management solutions.
• Incident Management - Assist in managing Workday incidents by identifying and troubleshooting integration issues, submitting incidents to Workday, and tracking resolutions.
• SOX Compliance - Ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) by maintaining controls, documentation, and audit trails related to system access and security configurations.
• Documentation & Diagrams - Create and maintain detailed system documentation, process diagrams, and security configurations to support business continuity and audit readiness.
• Workday Releases - Assist in the testing, validation, and successful deployment of new Workday features and updates.
• Compliance & Auditing - Implement and monitor security policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support audit readiness.

• US Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Workday, particularly in a security administration role.
• Experience managing Workday security and system configurations.
• Proficiency in creating custom Workday reports for auditing and compliance purposes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Tenacious problem solver.
• Strong self-organization skills.
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED:

• Workday Certification in Security or System Administration.
• Familiarity with SOX, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks related to data security and compliance.
• Experience with UKG Pro, as this role serves as a backup administrator for the system.
• Experience with Okta or other identity management systems for supporting SSO and API integrations.
