Advanced Renovation Group is seeking a skilled Onsite Supervisor to oversee day-to-day activities at our construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications. As an Onsite Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our construction projects are executed smoothly, within budget, and up to the highest quality standards.

- Site Management:
- Oversee and coordinate daily construction activities on-site.
- Ensure that work is being carried out as per project specifications and in compliance with building codes and safety standards.
- Monitor and manage construction schedules, deadlines, and progress.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and lead on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow.
- Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect work performed by construction crews and subcontractors to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Address and resolve any issues related to work quality promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers to implement quality control measures.
- Safety Compliance:
- Enforce and promote a strong safety culture on the construction site.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Ensure that all workers and subcontractors adhere to safety regulations and use proper protective equipment.
- Communication:
- Act as a liaison between on-site teams and project management.
- Communicate project expectations, progress, and changes effectively.
- Facilitate communication between different trades and subcontractors.
- Material and Equipment Management:
- Coordinate the delivery and storage of construction materials.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of construction equipment.
- Ensure that the site is organized and materials are stored securely.
- Problem-solving:
- Address and resolve on-site issues promptly, collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders.
- Anticipate and proactively mitigate potential challenges.
- Document and report any issues that may impact the project timeline or budget.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily activities, including work performed, materials used, and any incidents.
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports and other documentation as required.
- Keep track of changes to plans or specifications.
- Inspections and Permits:
- Coordinate with inspectors to ensure timely inspections and approvals.
- Ensure that all required permits are obtained and displayed on-site.
- Address any issues identified during inspections.
- Cost Control:
- Monitor and control costs related to on-site activities.
- Keep track of resource usage and report any deviations from the budget.
- Assist in identifying cost-saving measures when possible.
- 5 Years of Proven experience as a commercial construction superintendent, onsite supervisor, or similar role.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, techniques, and safety protocols.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project, Procore, or equivalent.
