Job Summary:
Heavenly Sports California Main Lodge is a winter seasonal store. It is a seasonal, high volume ski and snowboard rental facility during winter, and an outdoor retail store during the summer. The assistant store manager position requires the leadership ability to manage a winter staff of up to 60 employees. The assistant store manager is responsible for every aspect of store operations, employee performance and epic guest service.
Job Specifications:
+ Location: Heavenly Sports California Main Lodge
+ Expected Pay Range: The budgeted range starts at $25.00 - $27.48. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
+ Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Winter Seasonal
+ Skill Level: Advanced
Job Responsibilities:
+ Recruit, hire, train, coach and support a high performing team
+ Be energetic, motivated, and possess the ability to multi-task
+ Role model and administer company policies, guidelines and values
+ Provide epic service to all guests
+ Maintain and improve store efficiency and contribution
+ Manage inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals
+ Enforce company loss prevention policies and procedures
+ Maintain all company paperwork according to policies and standards
+ Communicate ideas or issues with Store and Regional Managers
+ Manage operational budgets and payroll
+ Remain current on new industry products and trends, and demonstrate knowledge of products
Job Qualifications:
+ A minimum of 3 years of retail sales experience - preferred
+ A minimum of 1 year of ski / snowboard retail experience - required
+ High school diploma or equivalent - required
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - required
+ Ability to communicate frequently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English - required
+ Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
+ Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
+ Familiarity with rental and retail POS system - preferred
+ Must be a team player and be able to handle fast paced stressful environment
+ Possess the desire to offer the highest customer service standards to guests
The expected pay range is $25.00 - $27.48. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
