Position Overview:
Capital Vacations is seeking a Rental Distribution Coordinator with a sharp focus on optimizing content for our online booking channels. In this role, you will ensure that all property and room information, availability, and pricing are accurately displayed across various distribution platforms, from OTAs to direct booking websites. You will collaborate closely with revenue management and technology teams to ensure consistency and optimization of content, ultimately driving bookings and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Optimization: Regularly update and optimize resort listings across all online booking channels (OTAs and direct booking platforms).
- Channel Management: Monitor and manage content to ensure accurate and compelling descriptions, photos, and promotional content that align with brand standards.
- Data Integrity: Ensure real-time data accuracy for rate plans, availability, and restrictions across all platforms to avoid discrepancies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and revenue management teams to ensure promotions, packages, and pricing strategies are properly executed and represented online.
- Performance Monitoring: Track the performance of each distribution channel, including analyzing trends and booking patterns, to optimize future listings and promotions.
- Compliance: Ensure all online listings meet brand, legal, and regulatory requirements, including appropriate use of terms and conditions.
- Quality Control: Conduct comprehensive audits of listings across channels to ensure information is accurate, visually appealing, and competitive.
- Platform Expertise: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new functionalities offered by OTAs and other booking channels, implementing best practices for content presentation and guest engagement.
- Reporting: Provide weekly and monthly reports on channel performance and identify opportunities to improve visibility and booking conversion rates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of experience in distribution, e-commerce, or digital marketing, ideally in the travel or hospitality industry.
- Proficiency with OTA extranet tools (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia Partner Central) and content management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Analytical mindset with a strong understanding of booking trends and distribution strategies.
- Knowledge of revenue management principles is a plus.
