Responsibilities
- Lead the Rental Department. Handle the proper documentation for all equipment leaving and returning from rental. Maintain the rental and demo files.
- Responsible for status of all rental equipment inventory assigned to the branch, including maintenance and condition.
- Handle all rental needs and inquiries to include walk in, phones, emails.
- Product salesperson for compact tractors, ground maintenance equipment, and attachments. Handles inbound, unsolicited prospect calls or walk ins.
- Identify customer’s application and assess their needs.
- Maintain management’s guidelines on availability and gross profit.
- Arrange all transportation for equipment deliveries and store transfers. Assist in customer unit pick up and or delivery.
- Follow up on UCC-1 filings.
- Verify paperwork for sales orders is correct before submission to asset management.
- Verify all after sales reporting is done. (Delivery Reports, Extended Warranty Application etc.)
- Highly engaged team player working across all departments to support branch activities.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent time management & customer relation skills
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Good computer systems skills (Office 365)
- Ability to manage more than one task at a time
- Working knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies.
- Excel in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to quickly learn and acquire product and application knowledge. Experience with construction or ag equipment preferred.
- Associate / Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
