Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Rental Operations Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of the rental operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality service delivery. The Rental Operations Manager will lead a team of operations staff and work closely with the sales team to meet customer expectations, manage inventory, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the rental equipment division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the rental equipment division, including logistics, scheduling, and equipment availability.
- Ensure that rental equipment, such as Frac Tanks, Vacuum Trailers, and environmental solutions, is properly maintained, inspected, and serviced to meet safety and quality standards.
- Manage and optimize inventory control, tracking incoming and outgoing rental units, and minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of rental agreements and customer orders.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for rental operations, ensuring that all targets for productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction are met.
- Lead, train, and motivate the operations team to achieve operational excellence and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Manage vendor relationships for parts, maintenance services, and equipment procurement.
- Address and resolve customer issues related to rental operations in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in rental operations management, preferably within the industrial equipment or construction rental industry.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and lead a team in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Proficient in inventory management software, rental management systems, and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
