Job DescriptionThe Representative, Diet Office II reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
This role is responsible for answering the telephone, processing communications regarding diet orders and maintaining the diet office system with current, correct information.
Responsibilities:
- Manages entire patient Room Service Process or meal service process in the evening independently.
- Processes diet orders using appropriate diet office software.
- Understands diet restrictions to assure patient food safety.
- Assembles trays according to patient's requests and diet orders.
- Coordinates with cafeteria cook and food service worker to assure hot food is hot, and cold food is cold.
- Provides accurate and timely delivery of meals to patients.
Required:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer knowledge
- Food Handler Certification within 180 days of hire
Preferred:
- One year experience preferred
