About the Opportunity
The Repeat Planning Engineer is responsible for reviewing documentation and preparing shop travelers for re-release to the manufacturing floor. Documentation review includes purchase orders, drawings, and specifications.
What You'll Do:
- Re-reviews drawings and internal documentation to extract manufacturing process.
- Evaluates purchase orders and contract review to extract customer-specific flow-down requirements.
- Reviews sales orders to extract any instructions contained within and/or customer profile notes
- Creates work instructions for CAM and Tooling Engineers
- Enters or revises process instructions into ProCIM to create the traveler instructions.
- Identifies ProCIM manufacturing travelers for release.
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ Years of industry experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of rigid flex circuits a plus
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of the PCB industry and processes
- Ability to read/decipher mechanical blueprints and other customer documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Education and Experience:
- Technical certificate or associate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Potential Shifts Available:
1st shift, Monday- Friday, 7:30 am- 4:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time
