About the Job
Intertek is searching for Report Writer(s) to join our Building & Constructionteam in our Fridley, MN office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification world!
The Report Writer is responsible for working with technical staff to prepare laboratory reports for a variety of tests conducted on fenestration products.
What you'll do:
- Prepare technical reports under minimal direction from technical staff
- Generate technical reports from raw data
- Prepare reports by collecting information
- Provide historical reference by utilizing filing and retrieval systems
- Maintain reports using existing web-based software
- Work with the Quality team to ensure all the records are in compliance with the quality system
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Perform other work as required
What it takes to be successful in this role:
- High School Diploma or GED, Associate degree preferred
- 2+ years directly related experience
- Expertise in the MS Office suite
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills - both written and oral
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Must be self-motivated and detail oriented
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
