Due to our continued growth, we are hiring for a Research Assistant/ Data Entry Coordinator at Wake Research, an M3 company. This position is a part-time role located at our Wilmington, NC site.
Job DescriptionThe Research Assistant/ Front Desk Coordinator position requires excellent customer service skills as this position is often the first contact for our patients and clients. This position is also responsible for completing administrative, and the occasional operational, duties that keep that office running smoothly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to the following:
- Greet patients and visitors and notify the appropriate staff member of their arrival.
- Prepare needed forms for new subject visits and see that all paperwork is completed.
- Scan all required forms and information into the system.
- Answer and direct incoming calls
- Place reminder calls and send reminder texts.
- Receive and open all shipping items and inform coordinators of their arrival (as applicable).
- Ensure the reception area is neat and clean at all times.
- Maintain office supply inventory and order as necessary.
- Manage the subject referral program and assist onsite/remote patient enrollment coordinator (PEC) as needed.
- Assign lab duty and notify the coordinators.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed, which may include regulatory completion/filing.
- Assisting with unblinded trial duties as applicable
- Strong attention to detail and communication with the study team, for discrepancies in study
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology a
- Excellent Organization and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Computer Skills
