Is it your calling to serve our Nation’s Heroes? Avosys is seeking a Research Assistant to provide support the Human Performan Wing at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH.
The Wing delivers unparalleled capability to the Air Force through a combination of world class infrastructure and expertise of its diverse workforce of military, civilian and contractor personnel encompassing 75 occupational specialties including science and engineering, occupational health and safety, medical professions, technicians, educators, and business operations and support.
Responsibilities:
The Research Assistant will work under the guidance of the study team and program director.
- Facilitate communication between study team members and study stakeholders.
- Assist with conducting literature searches as needed to meet study milestones.
- Document best practices and standardized process.
- Develop resources for strategic and tactical communication.
- Create data management system for capturing study needs and outcomes.
- Other duties as assignment by the study team and Program Director to meet study aims and prepare study deliverables.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The contractor employee shall possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
- The contractor employee shall possess strong writing and presentation skills.
- The contractor employee shall have experience with MS Windows, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Publisher, and Adobe Acrobat.
- The contractor employee shall have the ability to thrive in a team environment, yet able to complete assigned tasks independently or with minimal guidance from the Program Director and government leads.
- The contractor employee shall possess: organizational skills; the ability to achieve set goals; initiative in performing assigned tasks; ability to follow-up complex projects with influence, and integrity; and ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel within and outside of the organization.
- The Research Assistant would ideally be co-located at 711 HPW/USAFSAM with the Primary Investigators.
Highly Desired Qualifications:
- Previous work experience in research project management or assistance is preferred.
- Prior work experience in a Governmental environment is desired.
- Previous experience working in a military research environment is desired.
