Location: Framingham, MA.
Duration: 6 Months
Hourly Rate on W2: $48.00
Job Description:
The Research Associate II will be the lead contributor to a Biologics Drug Product Development project (including protein theResearch Associatepeutics and gene therapy) and will be responsible for stability testing, formulation screening, and container closure selection.
The successful Research Associate-II candidate is expected to work in a timely and comprehensive manner with internal and external partners, contributing to investigations of product stability and compatibility.
The Research Associate-II will employ established assays from a variety of technological platforms and disciplines (analytical, biophysical, biochemical, and molecular biological).
Prior experience in developing analytical, biophysical, and molecular biological methods for acclerated(high-throughput) protein characterization, formulation screening, and selection of therapeutic candidates is a plus for applicants to this position.
Key expectations and training for this position include execution of stability studies under various formulation conditions.
This work comprises preparation of samples representing protein/enzyme or gene therapy candidates, analytical characterization of samples, data analysis, and interpretation of results.
Planning, prioritization and initiation of concurrent experimental procedures for multiple programs to ensure their timely completion is essential.
The Research Associate-II should demonstResearch Associatete effective communication skills (oral and written), a strong work ethic, and good documentation practice (including laboratory notebook maintenance, and compilation and presentation of data).
The Research Associate-II is also expected to work well with others and embody the flexibility and adaptability needed in a fast-paced team environment.
