Overview:
As a member of the TBR Engineering team, you will work closely with and support the engineer(s) on projects relating to our Trickle-Bed reactor (TBR). This includes helping design and execute experiments as well as data collection and analysis. Your contribution to the implementation of TBRs will be instrumental in the applications of our pilot scale in the fields.
Job Descriptions
- Work with engineers to design, develop, and execute experiments related to TBR.
- Take an active role in collection, processing and analyzing data.
- Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and materials.
- Maintain timely documentation of laboratory work; provide written documentation and specifications of workflows (SOP's).
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the development of solid-state methane removal solutions.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in laboratory techniques such as solution preparation, dilution, centrifugation, pH measurement and titration, OD measurement, and autoclaving.
- Experience with engineering system design, particularly with bioreactors.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in data and statistical analysis software (e.g., Excel, JMP, R, or Python) is a plus.
- Prior experience in material procurement and vendor communication is highly desirable
Education & Experience
- BS in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field.
- 0-1+ year years' experience working in an industrial research setting (Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences Industries).
The base salary range for this full-time position is $70-$90k plus equity and benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and location.
