Who you are:Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Food Science or related fieldSelf-driven with an entrepreneurial mindsetA strong communicator with a customer service mindsetComfortable working in high volume environment and managing multiple tasksQuick to identify a problem and find the best solutionCurious and creative, being flexible and innovative in your approachAn emerging leader with experience leading in clubs, athletics, projects, or student governmentActive in the community giving back on campus, your hometown, or on a global scaleWhat you will do: R&D and ApplicationsDevelop application formulas using Scoular ingredients. Compile results in reports. Support R&D Scientist on customer projects by ordering and prepping ingredients.Technical DevelopmentLearn about ingredient functionality through independent research, communicating with Supplier Development Manager and supplier partners, develop test methods, and perform functionality tests in house to validate learnings. Supplier Development Manager and R&D Scientist will direct new ingredient evaluation needs.Quality and RegulatoryDevelop an understanding of ingredient quality and regulatory functions through engaging with Scoular’s Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory group. Support document creation and updates as needed.Project ManagementComplete other assigned project(s) under direction of the R&D Manager and R&D Scientist.
