Your Contributions to the Team:

As an Account Manager, you will lead and manage some of GloryBee's Key Accounts by maintaining customer retention, scaling revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. To be successful in this customer-centric sales role you will exhibit a high level of problem solving and analytical prowess, with the ability to turn data into actions. The typical work week for this role is Monday through Friday, with the flexibility for hybrid/remote work, as well as occasional travel or visits to our work site in Eugene, Oregon, as business needs dictate. Typical duties for this full-time role can include:
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients; continuously seeks innovative avenues to increase value in every dimension being supplied
- Collaborates with Director of Account Management to develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to meet or exceed assigned goals
- Pro-actively seeks ways to improve the internal processes and sales results; helps establish expectations, goals and accountability for assigned customers; monitors issues and collaborates with leadership on resolutions
- Coordinates, develops and delivers sales presentations; creates, generates and reviews sales reports; communicates pertinent information to current customers and internal teams
- Develops relationships with current customers across multiple departments; works with departmental leadership to monitor contracts, close sales gaps, deliver solutions and new potential initiatives for further growth
- Regularly monitors the social media platforms of each key account /customer to anticipate changes, overall business updates, new initiatives or strategic business partnership
- Attends sales calls
- Facilitates and leads routine strategic business reviews with customers
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related area; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 2-3 years or more of Key Account Management experience, preferably in the food industry or related raw materials or commodity space
- Strong history of maintaining business relationships
- Ability to schedule workload, prioritize, and adjust based on shifting demands
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills with a keen ability to address audiences through a variety of mediums
- Creative, big-picture thinker with a willingness to take risks outside the box
- Understanding of sales trends, forecasting, promotions, and related techniques
- Intermediate knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and/or ERP software is desirable, but not required
- Intermediate or better Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong problem-solving skills and adept at managing complex inquiries
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, free of accidents or incidents
