Research and Development Summer Intern - Merz North America, Inc

Opportunity to explore various cross-functional roles in R&D. Exposure to industry leaders, through mentorship from experienced professionals in R&D. Hands on experience in a dynamic and innovative work environment. The role provides an opportunity to contribute to meaningful R&D projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Project Support: Collaborate with the Research and Development team to support ongoing projects and initiatives
• Functional Exposure: Participate in cross-functional meetings and gain exposure to various roles within the Research and Development department
• Data management: Assist in data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports
• Project Documentation: Contribute to the development and execution of research plans 
• Industry Knowledge: Engage in literature reviews, learn, and understand industry trends and advancements
• Cross-collaboration: Work closely with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience across functional areas (Mentor assigned)
• Department Meetings: Participate in team discussions, brainstorming sessions, and problem-solving activities
• Research Exposure: Contribute to the preparation of research-related documentation and presentations
• Learning and Development: Take part in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the industry
• Other duties as assigned: Present findings and insights during designated time intervals on intern experience

Education 

• Required:

  • Currently a Junior or Senior in a credited 4 year school pursuing a major in; Life Sciences, Engineering, or Business 
  • Graduated from a 2 year accreditation school

• Preferred:

  • Graduate Student pursuing a major in: Life Sciences, Engineering or Business
