Overview
The Test Facilities Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering (TFOME) contract at the NASA Glenn Research Center, Neil A. Armstrong Test Facility in Sandusky, Ohio is searching for candidates to perform mechanical-related technical assignments within a research laboratory test environment. This position will support operations of research test facilities by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing research hardware and mechanical systems or equipment.

This individual may be required to perform the following job duties:
Qualifications
This individual must:
- Have a minimum of four (4) years of related experience working as a Journeyperson Mechanic, such as a Maintenance Mechanic or Machine Repair Technician, etc.
- Have a Journeyperson certificate in Research Laboratory Mechanic skills, or equivalent vocational training with sufficient combined work experience and skills in another mechanical trade such as maintenance mechanic, machine repair, etc., or an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Engineering Technology.
- Be capable of reading mechanical prints and drawings and using computers with touch screen operations for general daily reporting activities.
- Have good attention to detail and follow verbal and written instructions from engineering or supervision.
