Responsibilities:Postdoctoral Research Associate
The Barrow Neuro Analytics Center is a data science-focused research facility that aims to harness the power of big data to advance understanding of neurological diseases and develop new treatments. The Multimodal Imaging Genetics Lab at Barrow Neuro Analytics Center is in search of a motivated postdoctoral associate to join our collaborative research team. This multidisciplinary team focuses on applying advanced bioinformatics and machine learning (including deep learning) strategies to integrate various data modalities for studying the mechanistic basis of brain aging and secondary injury across cerebrovascular, neurodegenerative, and traumatic brain diseases. This position will actively contribute to NIH and DOD-funded projects related to cerebral small vessel disease and Alzheimer’s disease- related dementia, leveraging high-dimensional data for large-scale analyses to understand disease mechanisms, predict risk, identify novel disease subtypes, and develop therapeutic targets.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in human genomics, neuroscience, or a related discipline
Eagerness to learn and embrace new techniques.
Strong preference for experience in high-throughput genetics and omics data, neuroimaging, big data analytics, or machine learning
Proficiency in R, Unix/Linux, and Python programming is highly desirable.
Self-motivated, creative, responsible, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills are a must.
