Job Description Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to support research on the genetic and molecular analysis of behavior, with a focus on sleep and circadian rhythms in the fruit fly. Major duties include Drosophila genetics, assays of behavior, breeding of flies, tissue culture, preparation of samples for histology, standard molecular biology experiments and general laboratory maintenance as needed. The candidate will also have the opportunity to work with mice and cultured cells.
