Established in 1994, Inquirehire is a leading provider of background investigations for organizations of every size and sector. We are seeking a meticulous Research Specialist to help facilitate thorough and accurate background checks for our clients and their applicants.
A Research Specialist for Inquirehire is about providing detailed, accurate, and timely information on candidates for employers. In order to support the human resource department, Inquirehire has developed a team that provides tactical support to the HR hiring function. Members of this team are responsible for interaction with customers and all oversight of the screening process. Members are required to research data, outsource record checks, initiate calls, and apply quality control to background checks.
THINGS YOU MAY DO ON A GIVEN DAY
- Respond to incoming calls from employers and consumers.
- Data enter new requests and outsource record checks.
- Initiate calls to employees and educational institutions.
- Monitor all phases of the background process.
- Apply quality control to incoming results and post results.
- Assist HR departments with compliance issues.
- Troubleshoot technical issues.
- Work closely with customers, vendors, and management to assure quality throughout the process.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- 3+ years of customer service experience is preferred.
- Clerical skills with proven accuracy.
