Join the Colorado School of Public Health (ColoradoSPH) as a Research Specialist. This position is part of the school's Lifecourse Epidemiology of Adiposity & Diabetes (LEAD) Center and will support the SEARCH for Diabetes in Youth Cardiovascular Study (SEARCH CVD). The SEARCH CVD study is a multi-site, national project funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI). The project's main aim is to understand and quantify the impact of racial/ethnic disparities on the development of cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors and early CVD outcomes among young adults with youth-onset type 1 diabetes. The Research Specialist will be trained to lead data collection efforts at in-person visits, including collection of surveys, physical measures, retinal photography, and cardiac dysfunction testing. The individual in this position will conduct occasional off-site visits and support other projects as needed. This a full-time (1.0 FTE) position and reports to the Clinical Research Nurse.
