About the Job
We are seeking passionate and driven sales professionals to add to our team of European travel experts. The purpose of the Reservations Sales Agent is to drive quality sales volume while creating and nurturing relationships with the travel advisor community.

Established in 1990, Europe Express provides high-quality, custom travel to Europe for their North American clients. The company serves both private group and FIT leisure markets, working exclusively with travel advisors to book everything from air and rail to hotels and sightseeing tours.
Location:
This position is eligible for fully remote working within the United States. Hybrid working from our office in Bothell, WA is also available.
Salary & Benefits:
The position offers a $20/hourly plus commission, offers health (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long term and short term disability) and retirement benefits. 17 days of paid time off, 8 public holidays yearly plus birthday, career growth opportunities.
Scheduling:
This is a full-time, 40 hours a week position (Mon-Fri, Tues-Sat 8 hour shifts between 6 am to 5 pm PST).
What you will be doing:
- Actively manage sales pipeline of inbound leads through call center, direct phone calls, web requests and direct e-mail.
- Discover needs of client through consultative sales approach.
- Create custom Europe destination itineraries to include arrangements for air, hotels, sightseeing and ground transportation.
- Research and price services to align within client budget expectations.
- Provide guidance and make recommendations on routing of itinerary based on client needs.
- Re-sell product when necessary, e.g. hotel closures, major airline schedule changes, service disruptions.
- Educate Travel Agent Partners about Europe Express products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
- Research and maintain current knowledge of all product offerings.
- Exceed customer expectations and NPS satisfaction targets.
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years of sales experience in travel industry with a focus on Europe destinations required.
- Experience in meeting or exceeding inside sales goals required.
- Demonstrated customer service and self-management skills required.
- Background in a consultative sales environment, preferably within the travel industry required.
- Experience with business-to-business sales and relationship/account management building skills preferred.
- Experience with web-based computer systems required.
- Knowledge of airline reservation GDS systems desired (Amadeus preferred).
- High level of written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Ability to work hours aligned with Pacific Time Zone.
- Strong knowledge of Hubspot and MS Teams.
- Must be flexible and responsive to changing priorities while working to meet immediate deadlines.
Physical and/or Home Office Requirements:
- Reliable and secure internet: minimum of 30mbps download and 6mbs upload speed.
- Confidential space to protect company sensitive information.
- Requires ability to sit for long periods of time.
