Job Description: | The Residency Coordinator provides administrative support to the Res/Fellowship Program Crd II, Assistant Director of Education Administration, chief residents, residents, and fellows. Duties to Include: Coordinate resident rotation scheduling by collecting and inputting resident requests into the scheduling template to create resident rotation schedules, call schedules, vacation/leave schedules, and meeting schedules. Builds block schedule and assists in managing daily scheduling by entering schedules into New Innovations and electronic scheduling system. Distributes schedule changes to other departments as necessary. Tracks graduation requirements of Quality Improvement Project and other academic projects, ensuring that projects are uploaded prior to meetings, travel authorizations are completed, and leave is approved and accurately recorded. Tracks completion of resident and fellow Billing Physician Compliance, HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogen, and other yearly trainings to ensure 100% compliance is met and maintained. Plans and prepares Anesthesiology Basic Skills Bootcamp, Intern Education Month, College Days, Mock Orals, and Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) by reserving Simulation Lab and conference rooms as necessary, finding resident and faculty participants, creating reminders, and assisting with events. Provides administrative support for data entry in Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), and other program sites. Supports office events including graduation, orientation, and recruitment. Schedules and attends Clinical Competency Committee, Program Evaluation Committee, and other committee meetings and maintains accurate minutes. Prepares notices, maintaining confidentiality in all topics covered. Proctors resident In-Training Examination and Anesthesia Knowledge Test. Serves as primary backup for didactic scheduling including hosting events in person and virtually, as needed. |
Expected Salary: | $42,000 - $55,000 |
Minimum Requirements: | Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. |
