Opened in 2020, the Pillars of Prospect Park is conveniently located off the light rail transit station and close to the metro bus near the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, MN. This senior living community features 133 Independent living, 106 assisted living and 44 memory care apartments. Two buildings, make up this vibrant community and also encompasses an on-site Intergenerational Child Care Center. We are looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would be responsible for providing personal cares and designated health related services to improve and/or maintain the senior residents’ physical and emotional well-being. Will also get trained to pass medications. NO CNA required, unless under 18 years old.
This caregiver position includes;
- 64 hours every two weeks, full-time
- Day Shift
- Includes Every other weekend Saturday/Sunday and holiday rotation

Responsibilities/Job Description:- Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
- Under direction of Nurse provides tasks such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Performs specified home services such as; laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
- Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
- Assists with onboarding of new staff
Required Skills:
- If under 18, must be on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry
- Ability to communicate optimally, with emotional intelligence and patience for residents and coworkers
- Able to work in a team setting and support others
- Work with a diverse and older population
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
- Previous work experience or formal training/education as HHA, CNA, NA, DSP, PCA or similar; preferred
- Work experience in a customer service setting; preferred
