Cogir Senior Living is hiring an experienced, diligent, and compassionate Resident Care Coordinator (LPN/LVN highly preferred) in our premier retirement communityCogir at the Quarry.
The Resident Care Coordinator works as a liaison between residents, residents' families, and staff. They are responsible for the overall implementation, delivery, and coordination of resident care in the community.They will support the Health and Wellness Director by assisting in scheduling, managing staff, and ensuring that systems are in place to provide quality assisted living services in all areas of resident care. Duties include problem-solving resident concerns and coordinating care with the caregiver team and external partners.

What will you do as a Resident Care Coordinator (LPN)?
- Supervise, develop, and schedule the care staff according to the company's policies, procedures, and standards.
- Coordinate admissions with assistant administrators including supervising move-ins.
- Ensure resident records and charting are current and up to date.
- Coordinate care planning with home health agencies on-site, working within community policy.
- Function as a liaison with families ensuring special needs/requests/complaints are addressed.
- Assist in coordinating staff training and in-service schedules.
- Assist with the supervision of the medication room and orders, working with Medication Aides and Caregivers.
- Acts as the contact for all issues related to resident care.
- Understand the community's care regulations along with state-specific regulations.
If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:
- A positive team player mentality and passion for serving seniors!
- LPN/LVN nursing license in good standing.
- Memory Care experience is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of geriatric nursing experience, including in a supervisory role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A high degree of accuracy in all assignments, and ability to manage time effectively.
- Strength in taking initiative, good judgment, and integrity.
- Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain
