Dematic Corp. has a need for a Resident Maintenance Manager 3 located in Riverside, CA.
Must have the following minimum qualifications and responsibilities:
- Electromechanical skills, troubleshooting skills with PLC controls, servos, and other discrete electrical control components.
- Five years maintenance experience with electromechanical equipment experience is preferred.
- Must have the ability to connect a maintenance PC to a PLC and step through and understand the PLC program to troubleshoot complex controls failures, and make minor code changes under the direction of Engineering.
Key responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:
> Completes corrective actions to resolve complex customer complaints.
> Regularly monitors and measures customer satisfaction levels and takes corrective action as needed.
> Prepares or modifies programs to increase productivity and quality.
> Successfully defines work flows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness.
> Impact of decisions on business operations can have a moderate to high level of impact.
> May develop departmental budgets and business plans for functional area.
> May evaluate and recommend changes in methods or procedures in own area of responsibility.
> Identifies resource needs and may develop justification.
> Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems.
> May recommend/ determine organizational structures and supervisory relationships for own segment of company.
> May be responsible for overall success of function or project.
> Handles requests and provides customer service guidance and complex support for products and/or their programs.
> Coordinates activities with other internal departments to meet customer needs.
>Must have the ability to create reports and communication materials to track & report performance issues, and demonstrate continuous improvement of maintenance and operations of material handling equipment to our customer.
>Performs important areas of standard professional level work that typically requires processing and interpreting more complex, less-clearly defined issues. Identifies and resolves readily identifiable, clearly-defined problems. >Successfully defines work flows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness. Impact of decisions on business operations can have a moderate to high level of impact.
>Will recommend/ determine organizational structures and supervisory relationships for own segment of company.
>May be responsible for overall success of function or project. Must be capable of assuming the responsibilities of the site manager in his/her absence.
Education:
Typically Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree
Knowledge and Experience:
> Demonstrates and applies broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for managed work group(s) and how it supports related operations.
> Demonstrates understanding and application of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.
Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above
Direction of Others:
Typically manages non-exempt administrative or technical employees, and/or lower level exempt employees.
Key Working Relationships:
Primarily intra-organizational contacts and external contacts.
