As a Residential Aide Manager, you are responsible for the supervision of Residential Aides in a residential addiction treatment environment; handling and serving patients in a manner conducive to their safety, security, and comfort; establishing/maintaining a therapeutic milieu and routine; serving as a resource for team members and providing team leadership. You will report directly to the Executive Director and works closely with the Vice President of Recovery Housing and Regional Residential Aide Director to ensure federal, state, and PTC policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university in one of the behavioral science disciplines plus one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting OR high school diploma or equivalent plus three (3) years of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
- One (1) year of proven experience supervising and leading a team.
- Firm understanding of addiction treatment and the recovery process, including medication assisted treatment.
- CPR/First Aid certification – updated as required (can be obtained with company upon hire).
- MANDT/CPI certification – updated as required (can be obtained with company upon hire).
- Must possess a current valid driver’s license in good standing in state of employment and be insurable by the designated carrier. This role is required to drive for company purposes. Localized travel up to 50% is required.
Preferred
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.
- Four (4) or more years of experience working in behavioral health.
- Two (2) years of proven experience supervising and leading a team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, ongoing training, and retention of Residential Aide teammates.
- Provide supervision, coaching, feedback, and direction in daily operations to Residential Aide teammates, including making schedules, assigning tasks, setting performance standards, and monitoring ongoing performance. Maintain supervision records to include quarterly updates.
- Schedule Residential Aide to patient ratios in alignment with Pinnacle standards
- Maintain and submit bi-weekly accurate time management records for the Residential Aide department. Prepare Wage Allocation Report bi-weekly for the Controller.
- Complete 90-day and annual performance reviews timely with goals for continual improvement. Collaborate with teammates on their Individual Development Plans and review quarterly for progress.
- Investigate concerns and complaints regarding Residential Aide teammates, analyze information and evaluate results to bring resolution to the concern or complaint.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges by effectively managing patient monitoring for safety and security, patient belongings searches, physical safety searches and urine drug screens, and transportation, as necessary.
- Assist Clinical and Medical Teams with crisis prevention and intervention emphasizing the safety of patients at risk for suicidal ideation, early treatment termination, and/or other high-risk behaviors.
- Oversee ordering and organizing supplies for the Residential Aide team including supplies for group and recreational activities, patient snacks, patient care items (hygiene), and search supplies in alignment with budgets. Assist patients without resources in meeting basic needs by utilizing available resources.
- Oversee the search of patient belongings including heat treatment, required documentation, and storage of confiscated non-permitted belongings to ensure safety and security of the patient’s personal property and the facility.
- Manage patient cash balances as necessary/required including maintaining all required documentation and weekly audits for accuracy.
- Oversee the facilitation of weekly store trips on behalf of patients for basic supplies.
- Plan and oversee structured recreational activities to promote patient engagement and the development of recovery skills.
- Oversee RA-led psychoeducational groups ensuring adherence to the curriculum and schedule and successful completion of required documentation in collaboration with the Clinical Director
- Manage the weekly schedule of patient personal phone calls
- Coordinate local patient transportation when the facility team is unavailable.
- Oversee Residential Aide electronic medical record and facility documentation (Critical Incident Reports, mileage and temperature logs, receipts) to ensure adherence to Pinnacle standards and policies.
- Oversee patient self-administration of medication procedures and processes to ensure the safety of all patients and teammates in collaboration with the Director of Nursing
- Be present and engaged in required meetings and training opportunities including morning flash, weekly treatment team and Leadership meetings, and monthly all team meetings.
- Plan, facilitate, and document required team meetings and training for Residential Aides.
- Serve as an administrator on call for after-hours management needs, as necessary.
- Manage accuracy of electronic medical record census (bed board).
- Understand and be able to perform all aspects of the Residential Aide position.
- Understand, implement, and train on all Playbooks and Pinnacle Treatment Models.

Experience
