Meridian Stone and Countertops LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Project Coordinator to join our team. This role involves supporting the project coordinators and team in managing the sales process, coordinating schedules, handling deliveries, and ensuring smooth project execution. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Sales Coordination: Assist in coordinating the sales process with customers and internal staff, ensuring clear communication and efficient handling of inquiries and orders.
- Project Assistance: Support project coordinators with various project tasks, including scheduling, tracking progress, and managing timelines.
- Logistics Management: Help coordinate schedules, deliveries, and material purchases to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
- Project Tracking: Monitor project progress and completion, providing updates and reports as needed.
- Bidding and Compliance: Assist with bidding processes and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Payroll and Hours Tracking: Support tracking of employee hours and assist with payroll processing as needed.
- Office Management and HR Support: Assist with basic office management tasks and human resource duties, including record-keeping and employee communications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in a similar role or in the stone and countertop industry is a plus.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
