• Be the numbers expert: Prepare precise and detailed cost estimates for custom home projects.
• Collaboration is key: Work closely with architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather essential pricing information.
• Crunch the numbers: Analyze project specs, materials, and labor to ensure the most competitive pricing.
• Negotiation power: Review and negotiate bids from subcontractors to ensure alignment with our high-quality standards.
• Support from start to finish: Assist project managers in creating and managing project budgets, ensuring every job stays on track and within budget.
• Stay ahead of the game: Keep up with market trends, material costs, and industry innovations to deliver top-notch estimates.

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in custom home building.
• Solid knowledge of residential construction, materials, and labor costs.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction documents.
• Sharp analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with subcontractors and project teams.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma required; a degree in construction management or related field is a plus.
