About the Job
Position: Home Building Superintendent
Responsibilities:
- Oversee entire home building process, ensuring efficient execution
- Manage assigned Home Schedules and production timelines
- Coordinate, schedule, and supervise subcontractors using ITK System and documented communications
- Receive and manage building materials at Home Sites according to Schedule
- Responsible for Budget control in building process (e.g., waste removal, erosion control, re-work)
- Set and adhere to Closing Dates, managing construction to meet settlement deadlines
- Enforce Quality Assurance Program and Trade Partners' Quality Control
- Ensure community presentation and enforce site policies
- Adhere to OSHA rules, maintain equipment and materials on site
- Maintain ITK records (daily reports, field orders) and coordinate inspections
- Conduct required Homebuyer Meetings (pre-construction, orientation, walkthroughs)
- Communicate progress to Sales Staff regularly
- Perform additional assigned duties as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Willing to learn ITK and MarkSystem is a HUGE PLUS (Scheduling, Quality Control, Experience with building software)
- Highly organized, flexible, adept at prioritization, meeting deadlines under pressure
- Minimum 5 years of homebuilding experience, including potential transition from Assistant Superintendent role
- Leadership experience overseeing teams of 15 individuals
- Ability to manage 10-15 homes concurrently
- Understanding of house plans, professional, easy to work with
- Respectful, outgoing, open, and flexible demeanor
- Maintains composure and performs well under pressure

Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: $70,000-$85,000+ depending on experience
- Bonus: Based on performance
- Benefits:
- Employee-paid health benefits (vision and dental are optional)
- 15 days PTO accrued at 1.25 days per month
- 6 stated holidays and 2 floating holidays
