Residential and Consumer Lending, Director - Gpac

We are partnered with a local banking institution to help them source for a Director of Residential/Consumer Lending. They will lead the department’s overall strategy to develop new loan business and service existing portfolios in the Farmington area. 

Responsibilities

• Direct and Supervise the Residential and Consumer lenders, processors, underwriters, servicers, closers, and collectors.

• Lead the creation, execution, and management of products and services for home and personal loans. Make sure these offerings are designed to satisfy customer needs and comply with legal standards.

• Keep an eye on and evaluate technology and procedures to enhance the quality of services and the efficiency of operations.

• Direct the oversight of both the home and personal loan portfolios and the flow of loan applications, looking out for patterns in loan volume, defaults, or other significant indicators.

• Work together with the team in recruiting, educating, and keeping employees.

• Uphold positive relationships with clients and the local community, taking on leadership roles in community service.

• Be involved and make contributions to the committees focused on loans, collections, compliance, and managing assets and liabilities.

• Make sure the team responsible for home and personal loans follows all banking laws related to these areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience

• 15+ Years in Residential and Consumer Lending

• Innovative problem-solving skills

• Excellent communicator

• Strong record of leadership
